Do you have instructions on using and charging your Vape pen?
The battery comes charged and ready to go, just screw on the tank and puff. No button. No fuss. The light on the bottom of the battery lets you know it’s working. A slow draw is all that is necessary to activate the battery. When the light starts to blink it’s time to charge it. Unscrew the tank, screw the battery into the USB charger and then plug it into your computer or wall charger. The light on the USB charger will change from red to green when it’s ready to go.
The “button” on the bottom of the battery is actually a stylus! It works great on a smart phone.
Can I use my own battery for your vape cartridges?
There are numerous batteries out there that have the 510 threading used on our cartridges. Due to the resistance in the coil of our cartridges, it is advisable to only use a 510 stick battery. The variable batteries may damage the coil when used causing unwanted effects or permanently destroying the cartridge.
Are your cartridges refillable?
Our cartridges can be refilled to a point. They are disposable and will degrade over time with use. To refill, unscrew the mouthpiece while holding the glass cylinder. Fill the cartridge using a dropper containing your vape liquid. Then screw the mouthpiece back on while holding the glass cylinder. Do not hold by the threading while unscrewing or re-tightening as this might permanently damage the cartridge. Do not over tighten the mouthpiece as this may damage the internal parts. Do not mix other vape juices with ours as they may not be compatible. The cartridges are meant to be disposable, but with delicate handling, can be refilled a few times.
Will your products work for “X” condition?
We make no medical claims on our products. We encourage you to do your own research into cannabinoid therapy and the possible benefits it can give you. We have a number of reviews on our products page as well as our facebook page that indicate what others have used our products for. We encourage you to share your success story as this will help educate others on the benefits.
What is my dosage?
We get asked this question almost everyday. Unfortunately, we can not give you advice on dosing. It requires self-experimentation to determine what an effective dose is for each person. Everyone metabolizes differently and takes our products for a variety of reasons. Cannabinoid therapy must take an individual by individual approach. Optimal results can be anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks, so it requires you to keep taking it consistently. Starting with even a few drops of our tinctures can be enough to provide a desired effect.
Will I fail a drug test?
As with any hemp based product, there is a chance that you can test positive on a drug screen. It is best to consult with your employer or physician if this is an issue.
What should I look for when choosing a CBD product?
It is important to know what you are buying. Third party test results are the only way to know for sure what is in your product. Just because it has CBD on the label, doesn’t mean it has any in there. The FDA did a series of random testing on CBD products and found them to contain little or no CBD in them. We provide our third party analysis from a very reputable independent laboratory on our website and they are available 24/7. Look for products that contain quality ingredients. Avoid sugars, transfats, GMOs, artificial ingredients or preservatives when possible. Food-grade Ethanol or supercritical CO2 are by far the safest extraction methods for consumption. Avoid products extracted from toxic solvents like Butane, propane, hexane or other hydrocarbons.
What is the difference between USA and European hemp?
We source our hemp extract solely from USA suppliers as it is high resinous hemp. They use a special growing procedure that limits the amount of THC contained in the dry flower weight which allows it to be under the 0.3% THC designation for hemp. European hemp is the industrial variety which has been bred for seed and stalk. It has a low resin content which means it requires much more material to extract the same amount of cannabinoids. Since you are extracting a larger amount of material, there is an increased risk for pesticide and heavy metal contamination. You also lose a lot of the terpenes and flavor compounds essential to a full spectrum extract.
What does full spectrum mean and why should I care?
Full spectrum means it contains all the naturally occuring terpenes, flavornoids and phytocannabinoids that are found in hemp. We believe these compounds work together to produce an effect better than the compounds individually. This is known as “The Entourage Effect.”
What delivery system is best for me?
It is difficult to say which delivery system is best for you. The tincture is a great introduction into cannabinoid therapy as it is easily digestible and the effects will last several hours. The vaporizer will allow cannabinoids to immediately enter your blood stream so it is fast acting, but the effects will not last as long. We highly advise starting with a delivery system that you are most comfortable with using and fits into your budget.
Are your products tested?
Yes! We test for heavy metals, pesticides, terpenes, cannabinoid potency, residual solvents, mycotoxins (aflatoxins), bacteria, yeast, mold, E.coli and Salmonella to ensure our products are safe to consume. We post our cannabinoid results on our products so you can view them at qcinfusion.com/test-results We take pride in what we do, which is why we showcase what matters most.
Are your products vegan friendly?
Yes – All of our products are 100% vegan friendly.
Are your products organic?
Our hemp extract is grown using organic practices, however, due to federal restrictions, we are not able to have an organic certified label on our products.
I’m interested in becoming a distributor, who do I contact?
Please contact us if you have interest in distributing our products.
How do I return a product?
If you purchased at a retail location, then return it at the store of purchase. We will work with the shop owner to make it right. If you purchased from our website, please contact us and we will do everything we can for 100% customer satisfaction.
Are your vape cartridges plastic or glass?
We use glass for our cartridges so please remember to handle with care! We believe our products are best used in glass cartridges to limit off flavors that can occur in plastic cartridges.
Where are your products available in stores?
You can view our retail locations here. We will keep an updated list as to where you can purchase our products.
How long before I receive my online order?
Please allow up to 2 business days to process an order. Shipping will vary based on location. At this time, we are not shipping to countries outside of the USA.
How much should I take or how do I find a dose that works for me?
Every person metabolizes different and takes our products for a variety of reasons. We believe in micro-dosing to determine what works best for you. Start with a small amount and adjust to find a dose that is effective for you. There is no defined limit to how much you can ingest in a day, but please proceed with caution if taking a large amount. It is always best to talk with your physician before starting a new dietary supplement. For our vape products, we suggest starting with a few puffs a day, then moving to an as needed basis. Effects last for up to 3 hours.
Will I get high from your product?
Our products contain less than 0.3% THC (the cannabinoid that produces a psychoactive effect). CBD and other cannabinoids are non-psychoactive so our products will not produce that effect.
Are you hiring?
We are currently not hiring at this time, but you can reach us here and we will be glad to discuss future opportunities available.
What is MCT oil?
We suspend our CO2 extract in MCT or Medium Chain Triglyceride oil. It is the liquid fatty acids commonly found in coconut or palm kernel oil. MCT is a great carrier oil for our hemp extract as it imparts no off-taste and is easy on the stomach. MCT oil is commonly used in dietary supplements and liquid capsules. MCTs do not require energy for absorption, use, or storage in the body. We work directly with our suppliers so our products are easier to consume and provide a unique flavor profile suitable for hemp products. We use all natural flavor ingredients and are 100% free of artificial flavors.
Is this legal?
Yes it is! Although, we cannot grow or extract hemp in Ohio, we can purchase a raw extract from a legal hemp state and make products. As long as our products to consumers are under 0.3% THC, we can manufacture them right here in Ohio. Kentucky is a great example as they have a pilot program right across the border. You can find out more on Kentucky’s program here.
Do your products expire?
Our products do not expire but they will develop off tastes or smells if stored improperly, subjected to high heat or in direct sunlight for too long. For optimal storage, refrigeration is best!
Can I give your products to pets?
Our tinctures are suitable for pet applications. You can draw up the liquid and place it on their food. A few drops of our tincture a day will be a good starting point.
Can I apply your tincture topically?
Yes! It is most effective to take our tincture orally and build the cannabinoid levels in your body. However, our tinctures can be put into massage oils or other oil based topical products and used on localized areas.
What are the benefits of taking your products?
Unfortunately, we are not legally allowed to tell you the benefits of taking our products. There are a number of resources online that will say what a CBD product can do for you. More research is required to provide a structure or function claim with taking a CBD product. It is always important to discuss any new dietary supplement with your physician.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The ECS consists of cannabinoid receptors located throughout the body as well as the central and peripheral nervous systems. Cannabinoids such as CBD interact with these receptors in similar manners as the endogenous cannabinoids our body naturally produces. These endogenous cannabinoids are neurotransmitters that send messages throughout the body. Anandamide is an endocannabinoid that plays an important role in pain, appetite and neurogenesis.
What extraction process do you utilize?
We source our hemp extract from manufacturers who utilize CO2 and solventless extraction methods. We believe these are the cleanest extraction processes as they don’t require dangerous hydrocarbons like butane and leave no residual solvents behind. During the CO2 process, CO2 is slightly heated and highly pressurized to convert CO2 from a gas to a liquid. In its liquid form, CO2 extracts all the components contained in the trichomes (the mushroom shaped glandular sacs found all over the plant) into a collection vessel. Once the CO2 liquid is removed from heat and pressure, it turns back into a gas leaving the finished extract with no solvent remaining. The remaining oil can be further refined to increase potency or winterized to remove the waxes and solids.
The two most talked about cannabinoids defined:
CBD – Cannabidiol is the non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid found in hemp. This is the primary component in our hemp extract. There is ample anecdotal evidence as well as studies from other countries to showcase the amazing potential of CBD. However, the United States has fallen behind as there are severe limitations and restrictions on studying compounds like CBD even though they hold patents for CBD as an anti-inflammatory and as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant
THC – Delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol is the most commonly known compound naturally found in hemp and is what defines hemp. Hemp is “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3% percent on a dry weight basis” as defined in the Agriculture Act of 2014. Our products contain below the legal limit for THC and do not provide a psychoactive effect.
It is important to know what you are buying as some companies do not provide testing to their customers. Their concentrations may vary widely from batch to batch or contain no cannabinoids at all. This makes it difficult to find the dosage that works for you. We aim to deliver the same quantity of cannabinoids in our products every time. Our products contain a full spectrum extract so there are a wide variety of cannabinoids present in different concentrations. Let’s take a look at the test results below of our 750mg tincture – batch ID: QC001 provided by ProVerde Labs.Reading test results can be very confusing. First you have the list of cannabinoids that are identifiable noted on the left column.
Cannabidiol or CBD is the primary component found in our products. In this particular test of our 750mg tincture, it shows a concentration of 21.46 mg/mL. This indicates that for every mL or milliliter of our 750mg tincture, you are getting approximately 21.46 mg of CBD. So if you take a one-half dropperful (0.5 mL) of our 750mg tincture, then you are getting approximately 10.73 mg of CBD or half of 21.46 mg.
Max CBD refers to the total CBD content plus the max potential of the acid form (CBDA) decarboxylating into the active form (CBD). The calculation is Max CBD = CBD + 0.877 * CBDA. So in our example above the Max CBD will be 21.46 mg/ml + 0.877 * 0.96 mg/ml = 22.3 mg/ml.
In accordance to the 2014 Farm Bill Section 7606 defines Industrial Hemp as: “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” It is imperative as a company and a consumer to confirm your hemp derived CBD products are in compliance with federal law.
How do you take a tincture? Our tinctures are best absorbed under the tongue. Draw up the amount you wish to take in the dropper and dispense directly under the tongue. Hold there for 15 to 30 seconds to ensure the cannabinoids and other components absorb into the blood stream and then swallow the remainder to be absorbed through the digestive system.
